ASCII Animator is a unique, funny and free software to convert GIF image to animated ASCII art. First, ASCII Animator extracts GIF image into frames, then converts each frames to ASCII art, and encodes the ASCII art into a new animated ASCII art GIF image.
HTML ASCII art animation
The ASCII art animation will be saved as HTML format. It can be played on web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox etc.
ASCII art animation
The ASCII art animation will be saved as animated GIF image. The background is white and the ASCII characters are displayed in black. It can be played by any image viewer software.
Coloured ASCII art animation
It’s the same to ASCII art animation except it’s coloured. ASCII characters are displayed in the colour that the original image uses. It can be played by any image viewer software.
Requires: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.
