The main dBpoweramp product is dBpoweramp Music Converter, with many additional add-ons available for download as well as some other related software. dBpoweramp CD Ripper is the corner stone of dBpoweramp Music Converter’s suite of audio tools, designed to meet the needs of hobbyist, enthusiast or audio professional, one ripper catering to all needs.
It is safe to say, no other audio program converts more multi-format audio files than dBpoweramp, the developers have spent 8 years perfecting format-compatibility and conversion stability. Audio conversion perfected, effortlessly convert between formats. dBpoweramp Music Converter has become ‘the standard’ tool for audio conversions. dBpoweramp CD Ripper is for those who take ripping seriously, dBpoweramp CD Ripper rips Audio CDs fast and bit-perfect.

- PerfectMeta: uses 4 providers: AMG, GD3, MusicBrainz and freedb simultaneously, has high resolution Album Art and extended fields such as Composer.
- AccurateRip: compares the results of CD rips with a database of CD rips by other users to see if the rip is accurate.

- ID3v2: mp3 tagging option: to store YYYY MM DD in the date
- ID3v2: mp3 ArtistSort, ComposerSort - have to store multiples with '/' not CR
- FLAC encoder wording changed, also includes a FLAC Uncompressed encoding option (which stores audio uncompressed, for those who want WAVE PCM but with better ID Tagging).
- FLAC: ComposerSort, soloists, split internally correctly
- m4a Tagging splits multi ComposerSort, artist sort correctly
- Com Scripting in x64 - .ReadIDTag and .WriteIDTag would previously not work
- Corrupted Album Art could freeze conversion
- dBpoweramp Configuration can save settings for limited user account
